If you are never scared or embarrassed or hurt, it means you never take chances. You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true. You may have to work for it, however. If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way. Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they are yours. Learning is finding out what you already know. Doing is demonstrating that you know it. Teaching is reminding others that they know just as well as you. You are all learners, doers, teachers. The winds and waves are always on the side of the ablest navigators. If you are not fired with enthusiasm, you will be fired with enthusiasm.
When one door closes another opens. Expect that new door to reveal even greater wonders and glories and surprises. Feel yourself grow with every experience. And look for the reason for it Nothing determines who we will become so much as those things we choose to ignore. It is by what we ourselves have done, and not by what others have done for us, that we shall be remembered in after ages. Stop freewheeling, get into gear, and do something with your life. There are so many avenues to explore, so why not explore them? Never be afraid to step into the unknown, into the new. Do it fearlessly, always expecting the very best as you do so. Some people have greatness thrust upon them. Very few have excellence thrust upon them.
If you do not do it excellently, do not do it at all. Because if it is not excellent, it will not be profitable or fun, and if you are not in business for fun or profit, what the hell are you doing there? Only a mediocre person is always at his best. In times of stress, be bold and valiant. To think is easy. To act is difficult. To act as one thinks is the most difficult of all. Do not tell me this a difficult problem. If it were not difficult it would not be a problem. You cannot cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water. Do not let yourself indulge in vain wishes.

Change and growth take place when a person has risked himself, and dares to become involved in experimenting with his own life.
