    Just in case anybody is facing the same issue. Changing from WP Super Cache to W3 Total Cache didn’t fix it. Deactivating the theme options plugin resolved it however.

    The issue remained after clearing the cache. I’ll consider switching to W3Total cache since you tested that with your theme.

    Thanks for your reply! I used WP Super Cache with the mobile theme enabled when I encountered the problem. When I switch that off it works. I only use the parent theme.
