have intsalled church+ and have a basic test site up and running.

several questions if anyone out there could help please. Im a newbie to HTML and CSS so please ebear with me..

Would like to change layout of menu – it appears to take up a lot of space especially if there are more ‘titles’ to show than accomodated across the page so that it goes to asecong tier – big gap between first and second tier…

I would like to add a sidebar one seems to be present but cannot find how to use it – ideally would like both left and right sidebars

Hi Terry,
Both left and right sidebars not available. It would be tricky to maintain the responsiveness.
If you want to reduce the menu item padding, go to “Appearance > Customize > CSS, and drop this code

    padding: 25px;
}

adjust the padding accordingly

Do you mean that neither side bars are available or just one? There seems to be a space on the right when I display the site. If there is one on the Right how do I use it please?

You can choose “Left Sidebar” or “Right Sidebar” page template, but no two sidebars template. Go To “Appearance > widgets” and drag your widget into “Primary” widget area.
