    … sorry I have to correct my first topic.

    The problem I have with Church Theme and MS Explorer 8 on XP
    is that the content area is always with a fixed size wider (ca. 40/50 px)
    than header and footer.

    I would be very happy if there is a solution for this problem.

    It looks fine on my IE8. Btw you cannot try responsive feature on IE8 as it doesn’t support media query, and mobile browsers don’t use IE8

    Hi Han,
    thanks for the reply.

    … hmmmm??? very strange …

    fyi I also found that in FireFox and Opera the left and right headers
    are moved some pixel (10/20) to the inside

    only in chrome is the whole blog in one line, left and right

    if you are interested I could send you a screen shot of may IE8 window

    there is a picture with the too broad content area
    and a folder with the solution … it works now fine
    mybee someone else can use it too
