Dropdown list issue magazine theme

Hi

I am trying to use a contact form to add a dropdown list. I have tried two plugins but the magazine theme is somehow not showing dropdown lists right. Also the placeholder shows not on the right place. Is there a fix for dropdown list?

I tried the following plugins: Contact form 7 and from builder. I thought at first that there is an issue with one the plugins but later i found out there’s something missing in this theme.

The third box should be a dropdown (Kies type advies (verplicht)). also the placeholder seems not showing.

Thank you very much. How should i install it, should i overwrite the files through ftp? or wait for update theme on the dashboard of wordpress? what is the best way without loosing anything?

Yes, you can overwrite the files via FTP, or if you can wait the theme update from wp dashboard.
