hide navigation bar and header at top of page

I am using Omega and I would like to use the side menu instead of at the top to reduce scrolling. Is there a way to hide the navigation bar and header at the top? Thank you in advance for your help!

You can hide it via custom css (Appearance > Customize).

  display:none;
}
```
