Shortened posts on home page

Hi there,
I recently installed your Custom child theme for Omega at http://www.ceciliaunlimited.com. I’d like to make the home page display the first paragraph of posts rather than the whole thing, is that possible using this theme?

Hi Cecilia, go to “Appearance > Customize > Posts” and choose “Display post excerpts”. You will see more options there.
Alternatively, you can choose “Display full content” and use more tag

Hiya,

Thanks for getting back to me. For some reason, I don’t have the customize option under Appearance – the only options i have are Themes, Widgets, Menus, Custom CSS, Edit CSS, Header, Background, Omega Child themes and Editor.
