    Greetings-
    While working on the layout for my menu, I noticed that suddenly the menu only displays in a column rather than a row. how can I get it back in a horizontal row?

    The menu looks in a horizontal row hear. if you mean the text below the site title, you can increase the width via custom css below

    .title-area {
        width: 60% !important;
    }

    Go to Appearance > Customizer, find custom css under “Global settings” tab and copy & paste the code above, then save

    Thanks so much! that fixed one issue, but not the one I’m worried about… my concern is for the menus, with their corresponding drop-downs. when I began, they were in a row with the dropdowns dropping below. Now the menu is in a column, and the dropdowns cover the menu item below it. Thoughts?

    Ah, go to appearance > menus, then manage your menu structure as you like, simply drag and drop.
    And the custom css doesn’t looks good with header right widget On.

    That function isn’t working. the sub menus don’t work, the spacing is wrong, and I want them in a row, side by side, the way the original menu was developed. The menu settings are correct, but the display is wrong.

    Ah, it looks like you viewed the site from mobile browser. This will be fixed in the next release
