There are a number of changes in  Omega 0.9.9,
    – the Layout option setting is back
    – Page Template is removed
    – Add compatibility with WordPress 3.9

You might want to read Omega 0.9.6 updated.

Based on feedback, it looks like most users love the Layout option so we bring it back.  This should be the last version before the first stable Omega 1.0 release, soon. Please post if you found any issues. Thanks for all feedback and love to make Omega better.

Hi, Han. First, thank you for developing this theme. You’ve done some great work.

I’m having a problem at the moment: My theme settings for the child theme Shopping are gone as of the latest update. At first, I was getting an error that I didn’t have sufficient permissions when I attempted to access the settings page; now, the settings are simply gone.

Here is a screen cap: Our missing theme settings

My question: How can I get my settings back?

Any news of a feature like custom sidebars in 1.0 or this is too much for the framework? Thinking about having the option to choose different sidebars for different pages. Let’s say one left sidebar for the homepage and for single to assign another left sidebar from the theme settings … an example.

That’s a cool feature but I usually use plugin or custom child for this purpose. I think that’s plugin or child theme territory.

I have just upgraded my test site to the latest versions of Omega and Church. My menus are now shunted to the left. Can you help correct this?

    Thanks.
